Using hair rollers is one of the most classic ways to get volume and curls. Moreover, it's a gentle and simple method to achieve salon-blow-dried hair at home in front of the bathroom mirror. Some of you might already be pros, but for those who haven't tried it before, it's actually easier than you might think. Have you longed for that Matilda Djerf hair feel or a cool Charlie's Angels vibe? Then it's time for you to try rollers!

Which rollers should you choose?
Most hair rollers are made of plastic with self-adhesive velcro. There's nothing inherently wrong with them, but what makes ByBarb X By.Elizas hair rollers extra good is that they are much stiffer. Our rollers are made of lightweight aluminum, which allows them to generate heat in a way that makes styling both faster and more durable. The velcro is grippy and strong, but depending on your hair's thickness, we recommend using the included clips. A final bonus with these rollers is their width – they are a full 90 mm wide, which means they cover more of the head. Easier and quicker to use, in other words!
What size rollers should you choose?
Your hair must, of course, have a certain length to be rolled up on rollers. Hair rollers with a large diameter are best suited for long and medium-length hair and are ideal for creating volume or large wavy curls. Hair rollers with a smaller diameter are better for slightly shorter hair and can create more defined curls. You'll get the best results if you use rollers of different sizes to customize the volume and curls as and where you want them. Our rollers come in 50 mm and 30 mm, which suits most hair types.

Style with hair rollers step-by-step
1. Prep
Start by preparing your hair by distributing a volumizing product through your towel-dried hair. Volume spray or salt spray also works well, as long as you use a product for volume and hold. The best results are achieved when the hair is almost completely dry when you put in the rollers. Comb it out so it's smooth and tangle-free before you begin.
2. Roll
Roll up the hair, strand by strand, starting with the ends. Secure the roller with clips as tightly as possible against the scalp.
3. Blow-dry
Blow-dry with warm air over the rollers.
4. Wait
Allow the rollers to cool and stay in for at least 20 minutes for best results.
5. Remove
Gently pull out the rollers by twisting them downwards. For extra shine, brush the curl with the roller after removing it.
6. Shape
Gently brush or comb through your hair with a detangling comb. Then use your fingers to shape your hairstyle. Finish with your preferred finishing product, such as a texture spray for hold and to maintain the shape!
