Our Responsibility

We want to contribute to reducing the negative environmental impact caused by the fashion accessories industry in general. We do this by focusing on sustainable production methods and climate-smart material choices where possible. We also strive to offer timeless products of good quality. In this way, we aim to contribute to and influence this industry to become more sustainable and less "disposable".

Currently, we collaborate with a number of suppliers from China. Our suppliers are all specialists within their respective niches (e.g., scrunchies, clips, and clasps) and materials (e.g., cellulose acetate, silk). Through dialogue and presence, via a collaboration with a local purchasing office, we ensure that the requirements for product quality are met.

When it comes to materials, our clips and most of our clasps are made from cellulose acetate. Unlike fossil plastic, cellulose acetate is a renewable and biodegradable substance. The substance breaks down in industrial compost (but not in the general environment/nature), so we therefore encourage our customers to recycle these products. Our silk scrunchies are produced from mulberry silk, which is also a renewable natural material. They are certified according to the OEKO-Tex standard, which means that the products do not contain any harmful substances or chemicals.

We have an ongoing dialogue with our suppliers regarding environmental aspects and the environmental impact that occurs in the production of our products. We are constantly working to improve our positions so as not to burden the environment more than necessary and do our best to be as transparent as possible.

We also work with our own production in Sweden where we design and produce hair scrunchies and headbands from so-called dead-stock fabrics (waste fabrics) from Swedish fashion department stores.

The demands we place on our suppliers and business partners are also the demands we place on ourselves. We strive to create a good working environment both for ourselves and for those who work with us. We operate in accordance with applicable national and international laws, regulations, and guidelines, and maintain good business ethics in all aspects.

Your Responsibility

We encourage you to take care of your products to extend their lifespan. A fabric pouch is included with your purchase, which we encourage you to use to store your products. When using your hair accessories, remember to avoid direct contact with hairspray, hair mousse, or chemicals, as they can damage any plating, stones, or pearls. Surface treatments such as gilding, rhodium plating, oxidation, and matting wear off over time. If you need to clean your hair accessories, use lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Our hair scrunchies can preferably be washed by hand or in a machine on a delicate cycle.
